Van Ann Moore and Dr. Andre Garcia-Nuthmann
were the lead performers in the New Mexico premiere and the performances at the World's Fair in Seville, Spain, Expo '92. Now they have generously agreed to return and play their leading
roles.
Dr. Andre Garcia-Nuthmann, Professor of Music at New Mexico's Highlands University, brings his Hispanic ethnicity, knowledge and international reputation to the work. In addition to acting and singing
Ms. Moore and Dr. Garcia-Nuthmann will serve as Music Directors and Editorial Collaborators with James Stewart.
James (Jaybird) Stewart, Author and Composer, is a Native American. A graduate of Hobbs High School and College of the Southwest, he earned a Masters Degree in Music and Composition from Texas Tech University. Jay Stewart has numerous music works currently in publication by Columbia Pictures Publications, Warner Brothers Publications, Oliver Publications of Canada and TOA Publications of Japan.
Wayne Clark, Producer, is a musician, educator, and business manager. He formerly served as Dean of the Baltimore International Culinary College in Maryland. He is the agent and general business manager.
Robert Woods, Director, studied theatre at the University of Oklahoma, receiving a BFA in Acting/Directing and a MFA in Directing. He is an acting coach, producer, playwright, song writer and poet. During his 35 years in theatre, Robert (a Vietnam Veteran) has been the Artistic Director and Artist in Residence for The Street Players Theatre. He now teaches Speech and Intro to Theatre, as well as Acting to select students, at New Mexico Highlands University. For biographies and additional information, please visit:
